Job Responsibilities
Provide accurate, clear and professional translation for investment banking from Chinese to English and vice versa in an efficient manner
Liaise with bankers to clarify work scope and / or negotiate deadline and ensure translation is of high quality and meets / exceeds expectations
Collaborate with the team on workflow management
Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of translation
Suggest / implement continual improvement in translation services
Demonstrate partnership with other lines of business
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
University degree or above in language, translation or equivalent
Teamwork, initiative and attention to details
Highly client-centric and solution-oriented
A high level of professional discretion and work ethics
Flexible in working hours / shifts based on business needs
Proficiency in MS Office, with basic formatting skills in Word and PowerPoint
Experience in leveraging machine translation tools
Financial translation experience is a MUST (related to IBD)
Knowledge of capital markets and eagerness to learn
