We are seeking a Part-time Lecturer for teaching Creative Writing: Chinese Prose  and Chinese Fiction in the Minor in Chinese Creative Writing within the School of Humanities at NTU. Candidates should have a proven track-record in the techniques of writing prose and fiction in Chinese. Instructor will be responsible for leading classes as well as planning the syllabus, class preparation, devising and marking assignments, and handling student consultations. The course is to be taught in Chinese.

Candidates should have an advanced degree and a proven track-record in teaching. That is, candidates will only be considered if they have the following:

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Teaching experience at a tertiary level
  • A proven track-record in the techniques of writing prose and fiction in Chinese.
  • Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident

This position does not meet the requirements for a work visa: applicants must already have the right to work in Singapore.
