Key Responsibilities / What you can bring to the team

  • Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for a variety of channels including websites, social media, advertising campaigns, product descriptions, and other marketing materials. 

  • Brand Voice: Maintain and evolve the brand’s unique voice and tone, ensuring consistency across all communications and marketing materials. 

  • Strategic Messaging: Collaborate with other teams (Marketing, PR, Media, Social) to create strategic messaging that aligns with our brand values and objectives. 

  • Campaign Development: Conceptualize and develop innovative copy for marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders both locally and globally to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content. Communicate effectively in bi-lingual environment. 

  • Market Acumen: Stay abreast of industry trends, luxury market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform and inspire creative copy and ideation. 

  • Editing and Proofreading: Refine content both in Chinese and English to ensure high standards of quality and adherence to brand guidelines. 

  • Customer Engagement: Develop content that engages and inspires our target audience, fostering a strong emotional connection with the brand.

  • Innovation: Continuously seek new and creative ways to communicate the brand’s story and values to a discerning audience.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and timelines.

Person Specifications


1.Academic / Professional Qualifications   

  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling. 

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills both in Chinese and English with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Proficient communication and presentation skills. 

2.Work Experience  

  • 3+ years experience as a copywriter for a consumer brand, preferably within the luxury goods or media industry. 

  • Required Competencies 

  • Curiosity about human behavior, beauty trends, pop culture and ways to make a difference in the world through storytelling. 

  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. 

  • Self-motivation under the pressure of deadlines and improves with constructive feedback. 

  • Work independently as well as collaboratively. 

  • Flexible and positive team player that enjoys working in collaborative scenarios across teams, disciplines, and regions.
