Vacancy notice: Secretary to diplomatic staff
Locally employed position at the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing
Position type: Full-time.
Start date: As soon as possible
 
Main responsibilities:
· Coordinate meetings and travel for diplomatic staff.
· Liaise with Chinese authorities.
· Assist in the planning and execution of various activities and meetings, including events, receptions and visits.
· Other administrative and supporting tasks as required by diplomatic staff.
Qualifications: 
      · Previous experience from relevant positions with an Embassy, international organisation, or public administration.
· University degree, preferably within relevant fields.
· Fluent command of written and spoken Chinese and English (required).
· Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office, incl. Word, Excel, Teams.
· Familiarity with cross-culture working environment.
 
Personal qualities:
Exceptional personal integrity. Good cooperative and communication skills, ability to work independently and under pressure, intercultural understanding, efficiency, service-mindedness, flexibility, and friendly attitude. Candidate must be honest and reliable.
 
Salary: To be fixed, dependent on experience and qualifications.
 
Work permit:
All applicants must have a legal basis to live and work in China, either as Chinese citizen or with a correct visa/work permit at the time of application in case of non-Chinese applicants.
